Haystacks, Rouen Cathedral, and Mornings on the Seine

Claude Monet painted several series of paintings where he captured the same subject under different lighting conditions to depict the different times of the day. The one that stands out is the Grainstacks which were about 25 paintings created between 1890 and 1891. He did the same with the Rouen Cathedral series and the Morning on the Seine.

Oh I absolutely love Monet!
I had a lot of his prints when I was young decorating my flats.
I loved the poppies best I think.

I would love to go back to the Art Museum. Hubby always said we could go; and he would push me in a wheelchair. We never made it.
