Preparing For Moving In.

My daughter will move to the dorm next Saturday. I'm a bit busy packing stuff, buying stuff she might and will need. This is the only time we will have this set up so we are a bit of a loss and navigating through it. I've only done packing when we are going on vacation and it's just few clothes and other stuff. Now we have to pack more clothes and other items. I will be here on and off. I hope your day is well.

Have some rest, too... Take your time.... Have you packed some first aid kit? I already forgot what stuff I brought when I went to my dorm in college...

Having your daughter go off to college alone must have been both an exciting and somewhat scary experience. However, keep in mind that she will benefit from learning these things since they are necessary for her to develop into a young adult in the future.

When Pretty was moving into the dorm before college started, the college sent a list of things I needed to buy and help her pack. Then we had to take her and all the stuff to the college dorm. My Daytona was packed full! I still mailed her some things or sent her money so she could buy things after she was at school. I hope her move goes smoothly and she has fun in college.

I also stays in a dormitory with my workmates, i brought so many clothes, hanger, iron and of course groceries. I prepared them all in just one day since my HR called me and wanted me to report to work the following day so i dont have much time to prepare. I bought foam and cabinet for my dress since it was not provided. it was hard on my first day, i forgot to but water heater for my coffee so i need to drink coffee in the office. we are 12 in the room so all of us will use the comfort room and all are expected to be at the office at 8am and 9am (some availed the flexi time sched) I just really hope i could stay here for long. its a free dorm here in our office.

There seems to be a lot to think about when a young person moves out of home.
