August 7th Update

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I know once again I have been MIA. Honestly, just haven't had much to share about. Still haven't got back into the swing of reading/commenting on posts either. It's already August though, so almost time for my son to go back to school. This time he'll be going into middle school. He'll be switching classes 7 times a day - well I think the last hour is an advisory hour. But it will be a big change for him. Next week he'll go to orientation too. Need to do some clothes shopping for his new school year this weekend. Hopefully we'll still find some clothes doing it so close to school starting. Not a whole lot else going on since that is the main focus right now in our lives. Although if those recall in my trying to conceive journey - once again I am in the TWW (or two week wait) until I can find out if I am pregnant or not. Really hoping so - we've been trying for 15 months at this point. If not this cycle we are going to work on getting into the doctor and see what is going on. I know that subject is not for everyone though...so not sure if I should share about all of that. Photo is mine - my son Eli with his most recent haircut

Goodluck to Eli, I hope he finds school more fun each day. And may he gets a lot of fun activities too with new friends. God bless.

I would like to hear what the doctor says. That's a cute picture of Eli. I remember going from parochial to public school. From sitting at one desk all day to running from class to class. Quite a change.

I hope I don't need the doctor and I just get the positive. But after 15 months is that likely? Glad you like the photo of Eli....I don't know what parochial is...but yes changing so many classes is a big change for sure.

@MommyOfEli2013 Parochial school is a Catholic school. There are people that wait much longer than 15 months to get pregnant. Don't lose hope.

@LindaOHio Ahh, didn't know that (well obviously lol). Oh I know, but I am not getting any younger so the longer it takes the less chances I have. I just hope things finally came together this month and I can share good news in less than 2 weeks.

I hope you get good news in the pregnancy department. Middle school is a big change. It'll get easy after a bit. Have a nice weekend.

@MommyOfEli2013 ........Maybe walking him through what to expect could help his anxiety. It is the unknown that is scary.

I sure hope so, 15 months is a lot of time to keep getting negatives.... Oh yes, I do remember how big of a change that is... and my son has school anxiety in general.

Hopefully he will, but I know how he struggles in school; he does well learning but has anxiety

He's never really "enjoyed" school but we'll see...maybe going into the new year with his girlfriend he'll like it more.
