Police officers from the Mentor-On-The-Lake Police Department answered an emergency call on Friday July 5 about a deer who had a tray style bird feeder on one of its antlers.
When the police officers attempted to remove the bird feeder from the antlers, the deer would get away from being touched by the police officer.
Since the police officers in their judgement decided that the deer was not in any danger, they decided to leave the deer alone since the deer will shed their antlers to get rid of the bird feeder.
The deer is in good condition despite having the bird feeder on one of its antlers. Thank goodness.

Silly deer. They will go anywhere and do most anything to get at food won't they? I'm glad the deer is okay.

Yikes. Glad it will lose it when it sheds its antlers.

That is what I was thinking that the deer will have the bird feeder fall off its antlers soon by shedding.

Hopefully the bird feeder will come away by itself soon.

I hope so as well since if I were a deer with a bird feeder on my antlers, I would be upset.

The deer was obviously eating the bird seed. I hope he sheds his antlers and gets rid of the feeder.

I hope so as well since a bird feeder can be a thorn on the deer,

The deer here used to raid our bird feeders, so we had to move them inside the fence.
