My friend is 90 years old today !

So, today, a friend and neighbour is 90 years old.
What a great achievement.
I have posted about her before, some may remember that she is still playing badminton. She is a lovely lady who will do anything for anyone, but despite this her family don’t treat her as well as they could. Barbara, is the lady who goes out sometimes with my Mom, they are both on their own now. They go shopping and out for meals. Over the years she has had a variety of jobs and worked well into her 80’s. She used to do a lot of baking and she made my 21st Birthday cakes …many years ago.
Anyway, I think she is an amazing lady and I love her to bits.
I hope she has a very very Happy 90th Birthday. X

Possibly she will. Where I am, 40 is considered the beginning of life, 80 the end of it and if one gets to 90, even 120 is alot possible to reach!

That friend must have been so good to his/her parent. The bible said that a gift of long life will be given too children who have been so good to their parents. God bless.

Happy birthday to her. Our neighbor, Mary, is reaching 90 very soon. She still works, but she's cut it down to three days a week. Her husband passed away many years ago. She was always very active, but it's sad to see her slowing down more and more. She's a wonderful neighbor to have even if she is also definitely our Mrs. Kravitz of the neighborhood.

90th Birthday is such an achievement. Here in Kenya people rarely go beyond 70 years and when they do they get so frail that they have to be either bedridden or live a supported life
