Did a solid shift at the pool

I got there first as usual. It took some time for others to trickle in. Eventually 2 of my pool buddies showed up. There were a couple of other women there but it really was crazy. It is a beautiful Saturday in August and there were 8 of us there max at one time. I was there for over 4 hours. The cleaning lady was here and gone while I was at the pool. Charlie was thrilled to see her. Claire still won't let her pet her. Adso was his usual scaredy cat self and hid the whole time. The water is still chilly but once you get in it isn't bad. I floated around for awhile and then the pool mat was taken over by other people. I don't care. My pool buddies know I stash it in the supply shed and they are welcome to use it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll see some more of my pool buddies. We always have a good time together.
