I bought myself a lunch box

Specifically a "bento" style lunch box. My mother gave me one of those viral mini-insulated bags from Trader Joe's but I wound up leaving cookies at the house for my ex in it. He said he would get it back to me ASAP and I was like "no need" because it is really small.
I asked the supervisor and principal to move me to a 1st floor classroom since I can't do the long staircases safely any longer. I can do the distance but my balance issues make it dangerous. Sooooo I now will be floating between 2 rooms this upcoming year. It isn't ideal but it is necessary. Fine.
That being said the one science guy is annoyed at me because the principal initially asked him to just straight up switch classrooms with me. He refused. Again--fine. I'm not going to further annoy him by putting my lunch in his classroom fridge. So I ordered myself a lunch box. I feel like I'm an elementary student again!
The containers are stainless steel though which means that I won't be able to microwave anything. Looks like I will be eating a lot of sandwiches, pasta salads, fruit, and crudite this year.
It is all good though. That is healthier than having lasagna or pot roast for lunch.

Nah, a lunch box is a rectangular thing with Snoopy or Scooby Doo on it and a little thermos to hold your milk inside.

I like bento boxes. It is fun to eat from them..with different things in the little compartments.

Those bento boxes are really the rage.
Our daughter-in-law has one in the napsack that Grandpa carries for the girls.
It is full of their little snacks.
It keeps things neat and organized and you can refill just what you need and everything stays so nice and fresh.
She uses them in the house for stickers and other craft items too.

It's a shame the male teacher is annoyed but as you said you'll be eating healthy.

I'm glad you will have first floor classrooms. I remember running up and down the stairs in my high school. They had 3 floors and 3,000 kids. What a zoo!
