Best Rated State Fairs in the U S

It's almost time for the state fairs to start. With farmers showing off their finest animals to cooking and baking being on display. There are usually concerts and rides as well as carnival food and games. But which states are said to have the best fairs? Here's a list of this years best:

No, mine didn’t make it. Some things in the Kentucky State Fair haven’t changed since I was little, so it’s “nice” but I can miss it for ten years and not miss anything.
The Indiana State Fair is so huge they have it on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the Indy 500 is run. And I’ve seen programs about that Minnesota State Fair…that’s AMAZING.
My best friend says the Texas State Fair is out of this world, but most Texans are a little partial.

I used to go every year. Interesting. I think the one in Albuqueguerce, New Mexico was the biggest I had ever been to.

@celticeagle — I do like going out there when my neighbor gives me a free ticket (she enters things in contests every year and gets free tickets). It’s now $15 to park, never mind the admission fee, and that’s money I can spend on going to an Indiana state park and gawking at something pretty.

It didn't but the state fair here is pretty cool. The food is way overpriced however, and one time I went it was super hot. I probably shouldn't have gone, or just gone in the evening.
