One Cat, I Mean, Wax Warmer Down

My wife and I were in the bedroom taking care of some business when suddenly we heard this loud crash that gave us both quite a start. "What the hell was that?" We knew there was some rain outside, and it kind of sounded distant, but what the hell could that have been?
We went into the kitchen where we thought the sound came from and looked around and nothing seemed out of the ordinary or out of place. Both of the cats were in the kitchen, though, looking rather spooked.
Suddenly I saw the wax warmer bowl, upside down on the pass-through counter next to the bowl we keep for taking recyclables to the bin in the garage. "Why is this here?"
"Aww, dammit!" The wife said. She went around the corner into the living room where we keep it and sure enough. There it was, broken on the floor. We're pretty sure Cal was the culprit, but we can't be sure. But he looked the guiltiest.
Being ever frugal, I thought maybe I could piece it back together and glue it, but it's a goner. Cal almost was, but he managed to survive the ordeal.
I was ready to tan him, but of course, his cuteness always wins me over. Damn cat.

That’s the same reason why my end tables in the living room only have one lamp left out of a matching pair. Damn cute cats

@porwest Yep. George says our house is to quiet now that we don't have cats.

I had to replace one a couple months ago, and it was 8 bucks at Walmart. I know you're frugal. But wax warmers a must in this house.
