Fremont resident Katie Hong, 16, left a note in her home that she shares with her relatives that she was running away from home with the intention to meet a stranger that she only knew from their screen names on Friday July 25.
The good news is that the Fresno Police Department after they were contacted by the relatives of Katie to locate her as soon as possible.
Katie was found by the police on Thursday August 7 safe and sound near the Irvington Community Park. Katie did not get to meet the persons she wanted to meet.
I am sure that Katie's relatives will correct her for running away from home since the persons that she wanted to meet could have tried to harm her.

This story is much too common nowadays. And, it doesn't always end this way.
