Gardening Buddy agreed to come care for the felines while we are away. She is a keeper for sure. Fred cat is a timid cat. Buddy was standing in the kitchen talking to me, thinking about things like remembering to attempt to get a pill in Beau Teak. Whoa. Fred came from his latest hidey hole!! So quick. He ran over to Buddy and rubbed against her legs. Very friendly and wanting pets. Buddy said: "I must be the cat whisperer!" I had to agree with her. I will be able to go on our road trip knowing the cat kiddos are in good hands. Tomorrow morning about 10 we will head West. We won't pack a whole lot since we are only to be gone about three days. But the details! Yes I charged my camera battery and most important: put the camera and its charged battery and a memory card into my pack. I remember one trip when I did not remember the memory card and boy did I have trouble locating one. My journal and my writing computer will go in. And fig bars for just in case snacks. Just essentials like that. And yes for sure to a bottle of ibuprofen. See you later, alligator.
