A Morning to Remember

Once when my ex and I were still together we travelled up to Ketchum, Idaho where he had some construction work. It is a lovely little resort town where a lot of celebrities live. But, for us it is just a neat area around the Sawtooth Mountains. It was getting late and we were both tired so we pulled off the road into a meadowy area with a tiny stream running through it. We climbed in the back of the truck and went to sleep. When the sun started to rise my ex got up and went fishing. In that small stream he caught half a dozen small trout. We made a fire and had them for breakfast. It was lovely there in the tall grass with the sound of the stream and eating delicious trout for our breakfast. What a nice memory. That was probably 20-25 years ago.
