It's pretty much raining here these days. This led to my pink/red rain lilly too grow beautifully. They look so amazing... In this picture it shows one proudly dancing to the breeze. And there are a few buds too. It's the first thing it's bloomed that much.

On my way to the office, I see the same plants in the grassland. But yours has a bigger flower.

These are rain lilies. It's the monsoon season here. Raining for a few weeks now - not continuous rains though. But sufficient for them to grow. That's why probably the flower may be bigger.

Pity these bright colored flowers say hi to us only during rainy season. There are yellow, pink and white colored ones as well, did you see them?

I have actually all of them in my garden. It's so lovely to nurture them. It's another level of joy and happiness. Those who do, will know. Do you do gardening, by the way?

@vandana7 Yes yes. As I was reading that, the older discussing did strike me. You are doing a great job by looking after your father. And I hope you enjoyed your old gardening days.

@abhi_bangal Used to. Tentatively only money plant and some aloe vera, and jade plant. Not much....been busy with my father the last three and a half years. All things I have to do. I think I already shared the details with you sometime ago. LOL The list keeps on renewing. LOL But to be honest, I am rushing things too. I want to finish a lot of infrastructure works before I move to old age home. I have a great trustworthy friend, who will be in charge of collecting rents, organizing minor repairs, etc. But I don't want him to suffer too much in the process, just because he is being kind. So before next march, New electrical connection for the house, a new tank upstairs, waterproofing terrace is on cards. Then before 2027 march, change in electrical wiring of first floor, change in plumbing lines. Then 2028 march, another sump or tank to increase water storage for summers, and changing the sewer lines. 2029, this flat water proofing, another house internal and external water proofing and painting. 2030..plumbing and painting in this flat. 2031 external waterproofing of one house. That and roof water proofing and sump and water tanks water proofing. With that, I can go to retirement home for my lifetime. LOL That is just the list in brief. It can spill over if there is any medical emergency. This month the new water tank on terrace and change of plumbing lines is being undertaken. See...I am a busy lady. LOL

It's gorgeous. Well, the rain is doing some good work there. Here, we are having non stop rain or drizzling for almost two months. Garden looks happy, there are many blooms. But this excessive rain has also damaged many plants.
