What Happened Was Unexpected

Sometimes we want something , but get nothing.
And sometimes we don't expect anything, but get everything.
That's what happened this evening.
Clouds thundered only once. There was no lightening.
And then it started raining. In fact, it didn't rain, it poured.
It was a heavy rain.
I kept watching the rain till it stopped.

Thank you, my friend. We had been yearning for rain, but didn't have it. And we had it, it was a very heavy rainfall.

We were having good rains since many days.
Today, Sunlight came out.
Prospects were for a sunny day.
Yet may be due to high humidity and overall conditions, it began to rain heavily in the afternoon.
I read that some cloud movement is towards Bihar, Bengal and probably Odissa.
So may be you could have more rainy days ahead, although daily patterns might change.
And yes, sometimes we get things totally unexpected.

Sounds like an inversion has happened.
I used to think that Odissa gets more rains than Delhi.
Yet things seem to have changed this year.

Overall. Rains have been excellent- over 100 % of annual average all over India.
Having more water means that Dams are able to produce more hydropower.
In fact, Hydropower generation has increased by 10 % this year.

We didn't have any rain here also on my back home from Raipur. I was there since the day before yesterday. Back home on my way I had a brief drizzling. Here we are having bright sunny days contrary to the forecast.

I know. Delhi has had heavy rain. However we had a heavy rainfall last evening. The forecast is our state will have a heavy rain tomorrow. I'm waiting to see what happens tomorrow
I'm sure the flag will be hosted on the Red Fort tomorrow.
