Camembert and lingonberry sauce

For tea this evening we had breaded Camembert rounds with a lingonberry sauce.
We bought a pack that included 4 cheese rounds and two packs of sauce. This was bought from Lidl ….although we did have extra lingonberry sauce in a jar from IKEA.
The cheeses were cooked in the air fryer.
With this we had just a few fries ….also cooked in the air fryer.
What did you have for your main meal today ?

Pretty brought home a pizza when she went grocery shopping with my brother this morning. We may make that for our lunch around 5 pm if she's awake. If not, then I really don't know. Maybe some soup... If she's still asleep, I don't worry too much about eating.

Pizza would be good. We bought one today as it was half price and we were going to have that with the fries then we found the Camembert in the fridge that had to be eaten before the weekend so we had that instead. The pizza was frozen so it was no bother to put it in the freezer til next week.

@Traceyjayne I'm really not ready for more pizza yet. I just finished eating that great big pizza we bought last week. We have lots of other stuff I can make instead.

I've never heard of lingonberries. I might need to look them up.

I don’t know much about them. They are a red fruit. Apart from getting it with the cheeses from Lidl, we bought a jar of the sauce from IKEA so it may be more a Swedish thing ….that part of the world anyway.

@traceyjayne I made a lasagne. The béchamel sauce was actually quite nice but the meat part disappointed me. Yours sounds yummy.
