According to San Diego Zoo Wildlife Public Relations Representative Amanda Martinez, the fawn was being taken care by employees at a New Mexico Wildlife Center before the animal was taken back to San Diego.
The pronghorn calf is making a full recovery in San Diego. San Diego Zoo officials are grateful that the homeowner who contacted officials in New Mexico to care of the animal before the animal was returned to San Diego making a recovery.
