Becfause of heavy rain in the last few months our garden has over grown and all that needs to be trimmed when the rain subsides The crotons in parituclar will run into hundreds of cuttings. I would not like to just dump them but give it to whoever would like to plant them in their garden I have the nuns in mnd who have been gifted Solitaire They have a huge area where they can easily plant these crotons. There are two varieties, one with broad leaves as shown in the image and one with thin leaves. The latter is spread in the entire garden.

The crotons I have here are the wide-leaved variety. I didn't realize there was a narrow-leaved variety. I need to re-pot mine. They've been growing in the same pot and the same dirt for years and are starting to struggle... Leaves are dying and falling off and the plants don't look as healthy as they did when I received them as a gift. I hope the nuns are willing to plant them.

As you know I have a huge garden and the thin croton is planted all over including around the coconut trees. In the attached image you will see it Mine are on the ground and healthy. Wish I could send you some. You will have to quickly repot or take out a few cuttings and plant them elsewhere In the image you will also see the Ixora flowers

@allknowing I wish you could, too. I do need to re-pot the crotons I have but it's not a hurry up situation. They've needed to be re-potted for several years. Hopefully, next summer I'll be able to work outside and re-pot them then.

That’s wonderful.. you’re thinking ahead about sharing the cuttings instead of wasting them.

Some plants really take off when there is a lot of rain. These crotons are very pretty.
