Trying out a new restaurant

I’m going to an Uzbeki restaurant for dinner tonight. My mom’s friend is taking my mom and I there. He said he was there once and the food was delicious. Hope that’s the case now.
We originally planned to go there in the afternoon but turns out they only open at 7pm. It’s a bit of a ride to get there from what I gather. Would be nice to make sure we can actually get a table before we go there. Doubt anyone will pick up the phone before opening time though.
I hardly ate anything for breakfast today because I was anticipating us going out to eat in the afternoon. Hope I can last until late dinner time.

It was pretty empty when we got there so didn’t have to wait at all to get seated.

Not sure how long it actually took but navigation originally told me it’s about 53 minutes from my mom’s house. The food was delicious. The trip was worth it.
