It did add to my weight but I just could not resist picking up this onion when I went shopping with my niece in the US.
Never seen such a large onion in my whole life. What I have noticed is everything out there was larger than what we get here.
Talking about large size even their coffee mugs are much larger and so is the pizza size.
And what about those hamburgers. I never went for them as eating them would be an effort, with opening one's mouth wide open

At a restaurant in the US we were given large sized onion rings as startes We just grabbed them

@allknowing I know there is a dish called Onion flower which they essentially cut the onion like a flower and deep fried it.

In my country they sell big onions and small ones. But I prefer the small ones as I live alone.

That onion must’ve been a sight to see. I don’t blame you for skipping the giant burgers.. sometimes the portions there feel like a challenge all by themselves.
