A story about U2

Our son told us a funny story while he was home. But first some facts in case you don’t know these things. There is an Irish rock band called U2 which you might have heard of. The lead singer is Bono and one of the guitar players calls himself ‘the Edge’.
The son that lives in Ireland plays double bass, and his jazz group were asked to play for a U2 Christmas party a couple of years ago. The group were in the corner of a room playing background music for Bono and his invited friends.
During a break, one of our son’s group went off to the toilet. As he passed through a doorway, the Edge was just coming out. By coincidence, they were both wearing similar coats. The Edge said ‘nice coat’ and the other lad was able to say ‘you too’ (U2).

Handsome young man, your son!
That’s a funny story, and super cool. They could have hired pretty much anyone, but to get a jazz band..and YOUR SON’S jazz band at that!!!
