There have been a lot of food recalls. Not only in the Virginia area, I have seen seen them posted in other states as well plus in Florida. Various kinds of foods and mostly sold in Walmart stores. Have you heard this also?

@dfollin The Bing.com page. It gives a lovely picture each day and a bunch of news snippets.

No, not "mostly sold in Walmart". Food recalls aren't affected by the store that sells them, they're mistakes made by the company that is packaging the foods and those can come from any place that sell that food. Since we ONLY buy foods from Walmart, I do check once in a while. The main ones I've found were recalled because the packaging was wrong, a bread had hazelnuts that weren't listed on the bread label, ready-to-eat chicken sausage and chicken broth, none of which we eat anyway.

That bread could of been deadly for my daughter because she is allergic to nuts.

@dfollin Okay but that still doesn't mean the bread is only sold in one store. It's sold in many different stores in a given city/area.

I have seen a lot of food recalls living in California. One of the biggest problems is produce.
