We're all going on a belated Summer Holiday.....

Well, I would usually be at the caravan for the whole six weeks that I have off work during the Summer. This year, of course is different due to me falling and breaking my arm.
It is only now that I have confident enough to be here by myself.
I can't tell you how much I have missed being here. I really do love being at the caravan. It is my happy place.
So, we came yesterday and The Mister has just left.....he is back at work tomorrow.
Everything was fine at the caravan ....we haven't been since April.
We had a lovely meal out last night and bought in wine and cider for when we were watching the television later in the evening.
All in all a truly great day.

@traceyjayne I started the day with a bumble along the shore then Church, afternoon of pottering, dinner at an Indian that never fails to disappoint.

@Traceyjayne Me - tandoori mixed platter, the missus - lamb dansak, the daughter chicken tikka biryani. Poppadoms were stale.

@Traceyjayne I'll be having ham and cheese several times this week. I pulled down 1/2 lbs of ham to thaw yesterday morning. Pretty doesn't like it. I'll need to eat it all before it spoils.

I'm glad you had such a good day. Weekends are always so quiet with my husband gone. I usually don't see anyone.
