It Actually Rained!!

Yes, late morning we got a good rain for about 30 minutes. That is better than we have had all summer. No thunder or lightning, but rain none the less. I am very happy. We have gotten a couple of small droplets for a couple of minutes throughout the summer but not much. We are in a drought too. South Boise has had a fire that has burned 8,000 acres and still going. They even had to evacuates some families. Not good. I haven't had to wear a mask though like some other years, and the air quality has remained good. I hope that lasts. Maybe in the fall we will get a good storm. I am still hopeful.

I'm glad you finally got some rain, at least. Hopefully, you'll get more.
We're still at 101F and may still be there for several more days. The forecast shows we have a 30% chance of rain today but it doesn't smell like rain. We are overcast here but the clouds are intermittent.

We had clouds yesterday and they must have done some good. I was so happy to get the rain at least. Sorry it is so hot where you are. Ugh! I'll be so glad when it's Halloween time again. I love autumn so.

@DaddyEvil ......Oh, me either. I don't like either extremes. Summer or Winter. But, I do enjoy spring and fall.

Glad to know that finally you got some rain. Here, in India in many parts it's been raining continuously causing the water levels of many rivers higher than the danger level. In many of states people have left there homes because of flood situation. We are lucky that we are not facing such situation here.

Extremes are never good. I would just like a good thunder and lightning storm like we used to get here. We've had a few drops here and there but nothing substantial.
