Who knew? I certainly didn't because as an Italian-American who can cook that just isn't a place that I frequent. Hey just for you-know-whats and giggles I just checked the menu. If I *had* to eat there I'd get the Stuffed Ziti Fritta as an appetizer and either the ravioli carbonara or the herb-grilled salmon for the entree. There's no way I'd go out to a restaurant for lasagna or spaghetti with meat sauce.
If I had any room left after that I'd have the Sicilian cheesecake with strawberry topping. I do have to admit I like the salad and breadsticks though.
Anyway I just read an article on the NYPost web site that says you can order half-gallons and gallons of their 4 soups--chicken and gnocchi, pasta e fagioli, minestrone, and zuppa toscana from their catering menu. The gallon serves 12 for $29.99 which actually seems reasonable to me.
The rest of the prices are nuts. There is no way on Darwin's green Earth that I'd pay $50 for 4-6 servings of fettuccine alfredo when I can make it from scratch for much less. $47 for 6 servings of pasta with plain marinara sauce?

Oh and if you order the catering-sized salad they literally give you the same bottle of Olive Garden lemon dressing that you can buy in the grocery store. Why not just make a big salad and buy the dressing?
Still it is a good hack if you love their soups.

I went for my birthday this past year, but I never eat the soup or breadsticks. I always order something I’d never have the confidence to make. It’s too expensive to go other than for a birthday treat. It’s better than Zio’s Italian Kitchen. Do you have that chain?

Just now
I've never been to the Olive Garden. Pretty's boyfriend took her several times but it isn't a place we ever went.
When Pretty and I went out to eat, we ate at a good Thai restaurant (Thai Garden) and paid for their buffet. Delicious! (We went there once a month.) Or to a really good pizza place (I can't remember the name of it.) and ordered pizza and pasta. It was good!
