Pilot rescues a lost dog who was in the wilderness in Alaska

Soldotna Alaska residents Lewis and Amber Ekle were camping near Carmen Lake over the Independence Day weekend when their pog Koda ran away after he was scared. The couple used social media to ask for help after they went looking for Koda by foot and by boat without finding their dog. Volunteer pilot John Kagerer volunteered his services to use his small plane to search for Koda when he parked his small plane about a half mile where Koda was last seen. John was able to find Koda safe and sound nearby and quickly. John was able to get Koda to go aboard his small plane so he could reunite Koda with his owner who reside in Anchorage Alaska nine days later after Koda went missing. The owners of Koda are grateful to reunite with their dog once again. Link is upi.com/8551752682047 via @upi
