Bed is beautiful.

Isn’t it so good to be able to fall into a clean bed at the end of a too busy day, a bed dressed in freshly laundered sheets that are cold and starchy? I love that feeling, especially when there are no more responsibilities to be seen to, and you know that you’re free to sleep with no nagging thoughts about work floating about. It’s a bit like when the shops close on Christmas Eve and you know that even if you haven’t bought everything you think you need there’s nothing can be done about it so you let everything go and you just say “What the heck, (or something a little more salty) who cares anyway?” I have freshly laundered sheets awaiting me and no pressing duties to assail me. Bed is so beautiful.
