It was mighty cold last night. But I refuse to put the heating on !

Yes, late last night as I was watching TV, and probably should have been tucked up in bed hours earlier, I thought it had gone really cold. I didn't want to put the heating on for such a short time .... I would eventually have to go to bed ... So I got out my throw... Oh my days I was so comfy and snuggly under there it certainly did keep me warm. In cases like this .... Do you .... Put the heating on Put on a jumper etc Use a throw to keep warm ????

It's not too cold here unless it's december or something. Just wear heavy clothes.

I wouldn't know what the temp was outside if I'm inside. I have several crocheted throws on the back of the couch and, if I got chilly, I'd pull one down on me. After the construction guys left yesterday, Pretty woke me up and asked if I wanted the air turned down... Apparently, I was shivering in my sleep. I told her to leave it alone and crawled under my sheet on my bed and went back to sleep.

Heat already?? It is still August..that would be the day. . I don't turn mine on unless it is downright frigid. I love my comforter, and if it gets colder than that I use an electric blanket.

Put a jumper on, or two, and some warm socks, fingerless gloves (I'm prone to cold hands), maybe even a scarf, and wrap up in a big blanket!

I'd put on a jumper and a throw. At our old place I'd never light the lounge fire until evening. One afternoon I was so cold I went to bed for a nap.

It's been quite nippy some nights; but I haven't turned the heat on again...yet. Next week the highs for Monday and Tuesday will be UNDER 70F (21 Celsius); so the nights are sure to be quite chilly.
