Has anybody ever watched the show Transparent before?

No wonder people say California is the state of fruits and nuts. This show is wacky, and perverted. The people on there are a big mess. Everytime I see a show that deals with life in that state it really looks so different from most of the rest of the country, not that everybody in Calif. is like that of course, but some definitely are I think. So far I don't feel anything for the characters, because I can't relate to them. Modern Family is about as "California" as I get.

I have never even heard of it, or if I have, I don't remember. I am gulity of not really watching ''new'' shows...
My sister lived in California for a long time, and so did some of my other family, so up until she passed away in 2003, I used to get there fairly often. I haven't been there since she passed away. I don't have any desire to go, either. I've seen much of it over the years, and there are other places I would like to see, if the opportunity ever arises.

It's an old show. It is about 10 years old. I've been to California a couple of times. The only things I would like to see again would be San Francisco and the giant redwoods.

Oh, I enjoyed it...but it's like a different country in a way. I did find myself amazed at how much many things cost even back then, compared to what I was used to paying.
I did love San Francisco, but I am glad I went back in the day instead of now. I cannot imagine walking all of those hills with my leg how it is!

It was on HBO MAX for several years and is now on Prime Video. I wish they would buy the Morning show. that is a series I would really like to watch.

Nope. I just heard it from you today... but I know modern family but I don't watch it either, I learned about it because of Gloria's meme.

Modern Family is a cute show. It isn't nasty like the garbage on Transperant.

More than half the people in the state smoke pot including the teachers. Not the worst thing ever, but a bit strange.
