Caramel Custard

This is one of my favourite desserts. I steam the custard rather than bake it These days the size of eggs that we get here is much smaller than what we were getting in the good old days The proportion ratio of milk and eggs has changed. I have made mistakes by not remembering this and the custard did not form. The same problem was with my date and walnut cake. I increased the number of eggs that gave the right texture

That’s sounds like the French dessert ‘crème caramel’. I love it, but don’t have it often. It seems like a special occasion pudding to me. Delicious!

My mom makes fruit custard during the summers. Caramel custard is delicious too!! I love caramel. I don't know some ppl hate caramel flavored things...like one of my friends hates caramel flavored popcorn!
