Coral Springs firefighters responded to an emergency call from a concerned animal lover who saw a raccoon who decided to have a snack out of a trash can on Wednesday July 23.
The raccoon had one of its legs stuck in between the slats of a trash can's outer container.
Thank goodness the firefighters were able to free the racoon from having one leg in the trash can safely and quickly.
The raccoon was able to leave the area under its own power safely.

I'm glad someone reported the raccoon's problem! And I'm glad he left without a problem.

I am sure that the raccoon was very upset being trapped in a trash can.

That's good. Friend had a possum in his trash can one time. I think when it was turned on its side though it escaped.

I am in agreement with you that having a raccoon as a pet can be harmful to your home
