Was feeling pretty good this morning. Fed the Kids, but they didn't come out right away, a neighbor across the street was working on his truck, so they were cautious. We decided to go to the Post and play bingo. I played the Pull Tabs before Bingo and won a total of $82...of course I put 40 in it, but still a proffit. I put out $47 for the Bingo, and let Tom play the extra set I had bought that only has 3 Cards on each sheet. I kind of felt like 9 cards would be a bit much for him to keep up with. He didn't win. I won $25 on a game, and came so close to a couple others. It was fun. We came home and fixed us a big salad with left over bacon from last nights BLTs. Getting ready to look up a recipe for tomorrow's supper of a Boston Butt Roast. Any Ideas?

Congrats on your wins! Boston Butt Roast sounds good. I always throw those in the slow cooker and let it do the work! Season it up and toss it in. Easy!

I'm glad you had a good time and won some $$. Is the roast pork or beef?

It's always nice to walk away ahead. Good job! Boston Butt roasts have a good flavor but can be very tough. It's best to cook them slowly. Either season it to your liking and then roast it in the oven, covering it tightly, for a low, slow bake, or toss it in the crockpot, which will guarantee it being tender. If they aren't cooked long and slow, they can be oh, so tough...
