Trannies in School Locker Rooms: The Transgender Dilemma

In a recent incident in a Virginia High School a girl who identifies herself as a boy entered the Boys Locker Room and proceeded to video male students in the changing area. Two boys were suspended by the school system for "10 days" for sexual harassment, because they felt uncomfortable with her presence there and her behavior and discussed it with other boys.
The transgender's videotaping of other students was a school violation, and she was given "1 day" of in school suspension. Something seems wrong with this picture as the common phrase goes. Do both punishments fit the infractions.
Transgenderism has also become a big part of school sports too. Some states have allowed trans students to compete in girls/woman's sports. The acceptance of this trend has clashed with Title IX, making competition among female athletes grossly unfair.
Question of the Day: Would you be comfortable and approve of a tranny using the opposite gender's locker room as a changing area because she/he identified as that gender? What is causing this growing trend among our youth? Can anything be done to solve the transgender issue.

My thoughts:
1.This is troublesome on many levels. The student is a biological female not a male. Just because she wants to be a male does not make it so. You cannot change your genetic gender of your birth no matter what methods you try.
2.Also, the punishment was unjust. The boys get 10 days suspension and the girl 1 day. What did the boys do? Being uncomfortable with a girl's presence in a locker room is considered harassment.
