My Feelings Are Hurt

I texted my sister-in-law who is also my best friend and the one I travel with. I told her that I'd been to the Emergency Room and that my legs were in pain and what medicines they were going to give me. She didn't respond except, "ok". She should have said, "Sorry you don't feel well" or "I hope you get better soon" or something. Just an "ok" It hurt my feelings. Attached is another photo from Rundale Palace in Latvia.

Maybe she was just busy or something? Granted, I'd have probably just waited to respond with something more compassioned. But that's me. I wouldn't buy into it too much.

You are right to feel hurt. I would have expected a little more from someone I was so close to.

My feelings would probably have been hurt too but maybe she'll respond again with a more sympathetic message.

I’m sorry your feelings were hurt; I can see why. Maybe she wasn’t feeling well herself? I hope she has a good reason and that she offers it.
