The Mister went then came back !!! / myLot

So as it was Bank Holiday yesturday here in the UK The Mister didn’t have to go to work so we had an extra day at the caravan. This morning he didn’t have to leave until 8am so it meant we could have a lie in. It was just after 8 when he left ….after helping me to wash and get dressed ….he was back at 8.45, as he left his phone at home …. Off he went again….. He rang at 11 to say he had arrived but the permits he needed to go to work were delayed. He rang mid afternoon to say he was on his way back home. The chap he works with wasn’t going back til tomorrow and he had to have a meeting with the bosses first thing. It was lovely to have him home tonight but he has another early start in the morning. What a week !

It would make me angry that the boss hadn't told me they were taking extra time off if I couldn't start without them.

It did annoy me ….we were at the caravan and could have stayed an extra day. Also he had bought food and made packed lunches …now done if that will be wasted or put in the freezer. It’s lucky he hadn’t sorted anywhere to stay.

@Traceyjayne I hope everything turned out okay. I would still be upset over coming home earlier than I needed to from the caravan. He can always leave you the extra packed lunches... You could go see your mom and let her help you eat the extra food.

@DaddyEvil I did come to Moms earlier than usual as I was at the hospital ….more about that later….he took all the food away with him again ….never mind !
