So, I live in Texas, the home of Blue Bell ice cream.
I didn't know it was being sold out of state, but I'm happy to hear it.
Now, the ice cream is in a carton for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough but has a flavor of Moo-llennium Crunch. Of course with a name like that, you gotta expect it has nuts in it, and it does. You also have to know it would be dangerous for those with serious nut allergies. As best that I know, I am not allergic to nuts, I just don't like most. I really don't like true nuts, these are things like pecans and walnuts and not things like peanuts - which is a legume.
I have got to say that I would probably not be buying the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough because I don't care that much about them, just put the chocolate chips in there and I'm good. Not really a raw cookie dough eater. I get they are now making it safe to eat some raw flour, but I don't know if the flour in my freezer is safe. (Why is my flour in the freezer? I don't bake much.)
I know I'm in the minority about nuts and cookie dough, but I'm glad they are doing this for those who's lives could be endangered by this serious allergy.
So, my favorite flavor don't have nuts or most fruit flavors. My wife loved strawberry ice cream, I was good with cherries in ice cream. But chocolate and or mint were my favorites. Just like what Mom loved. How about you?

We keep flour and sugar in the fridge to keep them fresh and protect them from the occasional ant attack in our kitchen. We have an ant invasion every spring until Pretty goes out and sprays around the kitchen window and along the bottom of the house. We don't see ants again until the next spring.
My daughter, Pretty, likes Blue Bell ice cream but we can't get it here very often. She also likes Cookie Dough ice cream but I don't. (Pretty will eat raw cookie dough and, sometimes, buys some just to eat it raw.)
I like peanuts on vanilla ice cream cones along with chocolate sauce. My favorite ice creams are French Vanilla and Salted Caramel. I won't eat chocolate ice cream.

@ElicBxn I've never heard of that grocery chain. I'm guessing they don't have any stores here.
I like some Mexican foods but if they're made with jalapenos or other hot peppers, I can't eat it. I used to love jalapenos with cheese in them but, since I had rectal cancer, I can't eat anything that is spicy hot anymore or I burn and hurt even though the cancer is gone.

@DaddyEvil I can't handle hot things. I'm not kidding when I say I got a blister when a drop of jalapeno on my soft skin, like the inside of my arm. And this happened before I learned I had an allergy to peppers, both kinds. I had almost completely sworn off hollow peppers, like bell pepper and jalapeno, before I went to college. And black pepper, especially freshly ground and large pieces, tear up my mouth. I once frantically tried to get a piece out from between my teeth. It felt like it was acid, digging a hole in my gums. Once I did finally get it out, I bled, and not from the digging. My gum was swollen and there was a pit in the middle where the pepper bit had been in.

Food allergens is a major concern when it comes to any food product, so they are doing the right thing. But it does seem like we're getting a lot of food recalls for a variety of reasons, and I think these companies need to work harder to amp up their quality control measures. Not sure why that is faltering, but it is. And it can be a very costly mistake.

I agree it is a major concern, and not just food products. My cousin was allergic to coconut, which isn't a 'true' nut. She was making drinks with a friend at a party. She got a drop of something on her finger and put it in her mouth, not knowing it was. They were making pina coladas and turned out to be coconut. Her tongue started swelling. This was back in the early 1970s, maybe even in the late 1960s. The host of the party found some Benadryl and had her sit for a bit. She didn't have to go to the hospital, since it was both the weekend and night, so the student health care center wasn't open. I am always concerned because places put corn starch in almost everything. I have even seen it in ice cream, but normally in something they have put in the ice cream.
