Whoa the weather feels like Autumn in my corner. Yesterday we had temps above the 80s and summer. Today we barely hit 70 with a teeny bit of gray rain. Both hubby and I made it to the pool this morning. Then we drove north to the Mennonite store and picked up 25 pounds of Italian prune plums. YUM. Freezer and maybe a pie and snacks..... Tonight is poetry reading night. We changed the locale from the backyard to the living room. That means put stuff away. Find a place for this, that and the other thing. A lady and her daughter might show up. She no longer drives but her daughter says she will help get her Mom here. They both write. I hope they do appear. I need to truck up the stairs and get my little computer. Best thing ever: have a writing tool by your bedside. Having that computer by me has really helped. I may read a paragraph or two from the story that has been bugging me. I send my Light and Healing thoughts to those souls in Minnesota. Part of my early school years was spent in a parochial Minneapolis school and church. My grandparents were married and buried in St. Paul. My Mom rests by them now. May the person who took their precious lives be discussing the matter now with his/her Creator. May She be with that person's family as they walk through their grief and shock that one of theirs could commit such an act.
