Do you like pita bread? / myLot

I had some for breakfast this morning, and probably am going to have some for lunch as well a tuna sandwich in pita is good. I really like it toasted, but the kind I have now is only 60 calories per pocket and gets a bit overdone in the toaster. I can toast it for less time, but I think I got my fix in for pita toast anyway. What do you like to put in a pita?

I do like to use pita bread for sandwiches but also find it is perfect for making a calzone.

I like to dip it in hummus for a snack. That is how I eat it mostly or use it for a breakfast burrito with eggs and sausage or bacon. And fresh veggies added when available.

I put cucumbers, tomato lettuce etc. Iin the pits along with tuna salad. Yummy!

My mom used to put tuna or chicken salad in pita for my sister and me. They are very tasty.

I like to cut a pita into 8ths, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with za'atar seasoning and bake it to make chips for hummus or other dips. Not a big fan of it for sandwiches though.
