KFC deals and a FREEBIE

So the Grandson asked to go to KFC today ….last treat before he goes back to school next week.
So I checked the app and there were indeed some deals on there that we could use.
Also of course I can use my blue light discount on some things too.
So The Mister had a boneless banquet meal. I had a zinger wrap meal, the Grandkids had the strip offer and the krushems offer.
The very nice lady ….Shazza….who was serving us said that if we complete a survey while we were in there we could get a free ice cream…..
So, I filled in the survey whilst we were waiting for the food…..we had a free mint and choc drop topped ice cream in a huge tub.
The Mister didn’t want any but there was plenty for the three of us to share.
A good result and a great supper.

There used to be a KFC in our city but it sold out years and years ago. Now, the closest one is about 70 miles away.

The last time I ate at KFC, there weren't apps or smartphones, either.

@DaddyEvil if I tell the Grandkids that they won’t believe me ….they don’t think there was ever a time without apps and smartphones !

Thanks, we certainly did enjoy it.
Off course I have the app so we usually get good deals and quite often freebies too.

Cool. The ice cream was a good treat. I have some KFC coupons; but no one to go and get the chicken! The good KFC is quite a distance away. We have another one; but they always cheat you on the number of pieces.
