Apparently It's Recommended to Take Probiotics While You're Taking Antibiotics

It seems as though antibiotics mess up your gut biome and kill the good bacteria.
Online sites recommend that you take probiotics all while you're taking antibiotics as well as two weeks after stopping antibiotics.
I am having some issues (of course I am) with the antibiotics so I'm thinking about running to the store to buy some probiotics.
Do you take prebiotics or probiotics? Have you noticed a difference in your stomach health since taking them?

nope, it looks dangerous to me, without a doctor recommendation its too dangerous to play with other supplements or medications.

I keep reading lots of reasons to take probiotics. We were always told to eat yogurt when taking antibiotics. You also get probiotics from fermented foods. I like yogurt and sometimes make my own. I think that is why sourdough bread is good for you as well.

I used to drink those Activia “shots” that had probiotics. I was trying to cut costs so I quit buying them. I knew antibiotics could cause yeast infections, but I never thought anything about probiotics. I’ll try buying some just in case.
