Happy New Month...

It's already 2 September. We are into "ber" month and once we enter it, we get into festive mood and also preparing to welcome another year. Time flies and the year has flown too quick....this realization deepens with the arrival of September.
. Hope that the year has been good with everyone here. And if there have been turbulence as a part and parcel of lives, I hope that the rest of the year is a good one with more happiness and health
. And the coming year has it in more abundance.
I wanted to make this post yesterday on the first day of the month. But then I had little time at hand and myLot was acting up. I went to the other site in that little time.
Festivals are lined up in India in the coming months and the mood has already set in with Gowri Ganesha here in our state.
. You will see a new decoration theme in malls and markets with a new festival coming in. I am sure it would be Onam( southern state of Kerela), then Dussehra and Diwali before we set into Christmas mood.
It gets busier with all celebrations and socialization. And we get busier at school too as this term is a short one with more holidays and a lot to do. But all is fun. And I just love this time of the year.
And this month has started on Monday. I love it when a new month starts on Monday. Both new month and new week starting together makes me feel more sorted and structured
. Well, that might just be psychological factor for me.
That's all for the blabbering.
I hope that all is well in your myLot corner. Stay happy and healthy. Hope that you have a good September

Yes, I will. I look forward to any kind of celebration and events. Gives a good opportunity to socializing.
Hope that you are ready to welcome winter. It's around the corner. And in your part, winter is quite long.

@LindaOHio Hmm...I can understand. We don't get snow here in our part. Northern states in foothills of Himalayas get it a lot. I enjoy snow if it's for short and feels like vacation. During my stay in Chicago, Colorado and London, I was annoyed by it.

The year has gone so fast and we are nearing the end. Well, every year it's the same story.

@arunima25 I dread it. We use butane gas and it is expensive.

Yes, summers are going extreme with all the climate changes. And so is with winters. Each year we have cold days breaking records of previous years and decades. Winter is pretty long in your country.

@popciclecold Hmm...yes, it's an expensive LPG. Is there any other option available other than the gas heater? That might be a bit cheaper.

In the Philippines, most people are just looking forward to Christmas, vacation, and family get-togethers. Starting septembers we are buying christmas decors and start redecorating our houses.

Yes, time flies. And once the ber months come, you feel that the year has passed too quickly and another one is knocking. And it's the same story every year. Decades pass in a blink.

Yes, indeed. I won't exaggerate if I say that each day something is being celebrated in big or small way by some community in some state. Such is the vastness of diversity. Even if we take only the major festivals, it will at least one in each month
Happy that you have a pleasant weather. Enjoy it. Summer is approaching in your country. Here, it's cool after rain this evening.

We have ganesh puja for 10 days. I have a fibre ganesha which is not immersed. So festival season has started. But unless rains stop the real mood of people are not changing

@arunima25 sorry Arunimaji for the news on the loss of brother in law of your husband. Let his soul rest in peace

It's good that you can use the same Ganesha each year. We did not celebrate it this year as my husband lost his brother in law a couple of days before Ganesh Chaturthi.
Rain is a big menace this year. It's already done so much of damage everywhere.
