I have said this before, but, my Mom is a brilliant cook.
The Mister and I both like a quiche and every now and then …..we never know when ….she makes a quiche…..
She did some baking at the weekend as she knew we were going to be busy with the Grandkids and there would be no chance of us popping in and seeing what she was cooking.
So, The Mister has a quiche which he has taken to work for his lunch today …and I have a quiche which I am going to put in the air fryer in a few minutes for my lunch.
And ….what sort of quiche did she make this time ….
Quiche Lorraine ……egg, cheese, onion and bacon.
I just know it is going to be delicious.
Do you make / eat quiche ?
What’s your favourite flavour ?
What are you having for lunch today ?

I LOVE quiches. Quiche Lorraine is good sans the onions for me! Meals on Wheels has a hamburger on the menu for today.

I hope you both enjoy the quiche. I haven't made one in a long time but do enjoy it when I do make one.

I warmed mine up and it was delicious. The Mister had his cold and he really enjoyed it too.

@Traceyjayne I always want eggs warm, at least.
Do you ever make scrambled eggs in a Ziploc bag and boiling water? That's how they make them in prisons here and they come out really good.
Break two eggs into a quart Ziploc Storage bag. You can add some cooked meat to the bag. (It has to be cooked first, though.) Add spices. Zip the bag closed leaving air at the top of the bag. Then squish the eggs until the spices are mixed in well. Unzip the bag and take the air out of it completely. (It's easiest to do that by laying the bag flat on a table making sure not to spill anything out of the bag.) Start rolling the bag from the bottom until no air is left in it. Zip the bag closed and drop the bag into the boiling water for 12 minutes for two eggs and 13 minutes for 3 eggs.

@DaddyEvil I’ve never done scrambled eggs like that. ( never been in prison either ….ha ha )
I usually do scrambled eggs in the saucepan or most often in the microwave.

We don’t have quiche very often so it is a lovely treat.
I just had chicken for my tea.

I bet you can't wait for lunch time
I'm not a fan of quiche because I don't like eggs. Wish I did

That’s such a shame ….im sure there is an egg substitute that you can buy these days ….that might help you.
