A particularly enjoyable and lovely song came out in 1909 called “By the Light of the Silvery Moon.”It was performed onstage by Lillian Lorraine in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1909 and became one of the series of Tin Pan Alley songs relating to the moon. This wonderful song has been sung on many TV shows and movies, among them a musical by the same name with Doris Day that came out in 1953.
Some interesting facts about this song are that it was sung in 1933 by The Three Stooges making a cameo appearance in “Turn Back the Clock,” by Huckleberry Hound in “The Good, the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound” in 1988, and by Shaggy to Velma in “Scooby Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster” in 2010.
I love cuteness and my old cartoon favorites, so the version of the song is by Huckleberry Hound. I think its delightful.

@Juliaacv for a while there were cartoons that played old songs and had a bouncing ball to follow the words, Do you remember those?

I watch cartoons all the time too and I love that pic.
I just pulled out my book “Ten Timid Ghosts”
Ten timid ghosts
In a haunted house
A witch moved in
And wanted them out!
