There are superstitions that cannot be ignored in our community and most other communities here in western Kenya. For instance, when the upper eyelid shakes, it implies good luck. If the lower one shakes it implies bad omen. Feeling itchy in the palm signifies you are about to receive a fortune – especially cash. Then there is a gently and rare type of grasshopper which signifies or predicts that some visitor is coming soon when it is seen in the house in the night. On 1st September I was visited by one and for real, I expect a visitor soon! Do you see any of my superstitions similar to those in your community?

How interesting. We have the same one here about the itchy palms. (Not a fortune, just some money) A rare type of grasshopper sounds interesting.

Not at all, for anyone to have a eyelid twitch and put it on superstition is plain dumb, That could be too much caffeine lol
