Tea for two ….Hungry Horse special …..

So Mom has the beginnings of a cold so she didn’t want a takeaway or to go out for a meal. She just wanted a toasted tea cake and a hot drink and an early night. So, it was just The Mister and me for tea. A local pub chain Hungry Horse have a promotion on at the moment. Each meal is just £6 Can’t say no to that. I had Southern fried chicken burger, onion rings and chips What did you have to eat today ? The Mister had Chicken New Yorker …basically Hunters Chicken. Both meals were lovely.

Our only remaining local pub is a Hungry Horse. I can't say I've been too impressed on the occasions I've eaten there, but then I've been I think twice or maybe three times since we moved here in 2007.

There are two that we will go to …great food and atmosphere and staff. And one we won’t return to ….The mister commented tonight it’s amazing how different venues in the same chain can be…
