Tea for two ….Hungry Horse special …..

So Mom has the beginnings of a cold so she didn’t want a takeaway or to go out for a meal. She just wanted a toasted tea cake and a hot drink and an early night.
So, it was just The Mister and me for tea.
A local pub chain Hungry Horse have a promotion on at the moment. Each meal is just £6
Can’t say no to that.
I had Southern fried chicken burger, onion rings and chips
What did you have to eat today ?
The Mister had Chicken New Yorker …basically Hunters Chicken.
Both meals were lovely.

So today is Saturday, and we went out for breakfast. It is a bit pricey to eat out but we did. Hubby had a Denver omelette and pancakes on the side. My meal was called "split decision" and had sausages, bacon, eggs, French toast, and a short stack of pancakes on the side. I ordered hash browns to go with. We probably will not want to eat lunch.

I would have ordered the fried chicken with onion rings, too.

There are two that we will go to …great food and atmosphere and staff. And one we won’t return to ….The mister commented tonight it’s amazing how different venues in the same chain can be…
