Today has been a full-on go, go, go kind of day. I had every intention of checking in earlier, but clearly the universe laughed at my schedule.
Anyway, here I am — kids fed, chaos contained, laundry spinning like it’s training for NASCAR, and I finally have a moment to breathe (and scroll).
So hey! Hope everyone’s soaking up these slightly cooler temps — by “cooler,” I mean “less like standing in Satan’s sauna,” but hey, we’ll take what we can get.
We knocked out a mountain of errands today, then I whipped up spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. The seventeen-year-old has two friends over, the twelve-year-old has one, so the house is bursting at the seams. Thus, spaghetti: cheap, easy, and capable of feeding a small army.
The girls have pitched camp in the backyard, the boys are off fishing, Chris is living his best life with a Nintendo 64, and I’m about to fire up my Switch. Basically, everyone is happily distracted and no one is asking me where their socks are — a rare and beautiful thing.
So that’s the thrilling excitement here at Casa de Chaos. How’s everyone else’s week treating them?

It has been a challenging week for me having to deal with getting a new wire to connect with the computer as well as not having internet access this morning due to internet upgrades in my area.

@thislittlepennyearns Wire since the cats were pulling on the wire that was hanging on the wall which is now sealed by a protective barrier.

When I make my spaghetti, I never add the noodles in with the sauce. I just make a bed of noodles and pour the sauce over it, and then sprinkle on some Parmesan and parsley. Granted, when it's done, before we put it away, we do mix the noodles into the sauce.
It's good either way, of course.

I didn't eat any of it that night and I rarely eat spaghetti. It's just not my thing.
