I am always on the lookout for interesting facts to share. I have come upon some more and will share them here: * Lemons actually will float where limes do not. It is because limes are denser than lemons. * Oranges grown in warmer regions such as Vietnam or Thailand are green, not orange. * Bumble bees and yellow jacket wasps can sting repeatedly because they have a smooth stinger. Whereas the honey bee has a barbed stinger and can only sting once. * You can get cell phone service at the top of Mount Everest. In 2010, Ncell installed 3G service on the mountain. They worked with ZTE to deploy eight stations at the Mount Everest National Park so that climbers and residents could have communication service. * Bats utilize a biological sonar system which allows them to be aware of their environment using sound waves. But fruit bats, like flying foxes, use their vision over the usual echo location that most bats use. There are many bats who can actually see.
