Apple Jelly Day

I will make at least one batch of that today. I think hubby now has enough to last at least a year. The apple butter is for me. I don't eat a lot of bread so don't use very much jelly.
I will also try to get the other old planter box emptied out today. It still has walking onions in it. I will then figure out what I am doing with those boxes. I need to measure an area too that I might put ducks in.

They are also called Egyptian onions. The top gets big seed heads that pull the plant over and then grows there. So it looks like its moving over time. You can use them just like onions.

Those both will be nice during the winter months. Apple jelly and butter. Do you utilize the walking onions in anything?
