A Little Cinnamon Isn't Bad

When it comes to coffee, I'm a no-frills guy. I don't like most flavored coffees (or, I should say, I don't prefer most of them). I never put cream in a cup. Or sugar. I like my coffee straight up, hot, and black.
But, every once in a while, I don't mind adding a touch of cinnamon to my grounds before I brew a pot. Not enough to overpower the flavor of the coffee itself. But just enough to give it a touch of cinnamon flavor.
This actually works out for me since I acquired a ton of cinnamon a while back, and I don't really use it for much, so this helps me to use it up. Not with every pot, mind you.
But a little cinnamon in my coffee from time to time isn't bad. Do you like cinnamon in your coffee? Have you ever tried adding a little to your grounds?

I'm a coffee lover myself, although I prefer decaf.
I dunno if it's the same with anyone else, but I find the taste of coffee heavenly.

I will put some in from time to time. I also have a zero calorie cinnamon vanilla syrup I like to use sometimes. That reminds me..maybe I will put some in now. I am about due for a second cup.

I like my coffee black (no milk or sugar) and haven't added cinnamon to the grounds. It sounds interesting and I just might give it a try.. Usually if I decide to have a flavored coffee it's in the afternoon as a quick pick-me-up.
