In case you didn't hear any of the coverage on your mainstream media sources like ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN or online from Yahoo or Google, a "serial criminal" with 14 prior arrests stabbed a young woman to death in Charlotte, NC last month. Murders happen all the time and everyone is not reported on the news, yet this one continues a disturbing trend in our major cities, and these stories need to be reported, not covered up. Americans should be aware and offended that mostly DEMOCRAT politicians have done little to stop it. Democrat Mayors, Democrat Governors and Democrat policies have continued to allow repeat criminals to be out on the street under soft on crime legislations under a policy called the "Criminal Justice Reform Act." Democrat politicians HAVE CONTINUED TO DEFEND AND DOUBLED DOWN on lenient policies on crime ignoring the continuing violence in inner cities. Of course, there is "an elephant in the room" that the mainstream media, social influencers, and politicians can't mention. So, they keep quiet. But those with the common sense to see know. However, if anyone dares point out what's obvious they are ridiculed and called names. Democrats need to realize policies like cashless bail, soft sentences on crimes, defunding the police, failure to charge criminals, only lead to lawlessness and unsafe cities. One can cite Democrats who run for office in large cities and support a more lenient court system and those who vote for these officials as partially to blame for the crime chaos. Unfortunately, people are too ignorant of who is responsible for the situation or just plain uninformed of the harm electing officials with these positions will do to the neighborhoods they live in. Just look at the anarchy and murder rates happening in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York if you need a few examples.

I read the liberal female judge let that murderer have bail for a previous crime, that judge should be disbarred and prosecuted.

@dgobucks226 It really is criminal to let that type of criminal to have bail.

Yes, I read that too. -Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes, who RELEASED 14-time criminal DeCarlos Brown Jr., is also the "Director of Operations" at Second Chance Services, a mental health and addiction clinic in Charlotte, NC. DOES THIS JUDGE RELEASE VIOLENT CRIMINALS INTO HER TREATMENT CENTER TO GET PAID BY A GOVT CONTRACT? And just how many chances are too many? -This criminal had prior offenses for violent crime including robbery with a dangerous weapon. He has also been charged in the past with felony larceny, breaking and entering, and shoplifting, according to jail records cited by WBTV.

I read that online, but I assumed it was New York. I agree with you here; we’ve gotten way too soft on crime. Tulsa, Oklahoma has gotten bad too. And yes, this is something that a lot of Democrats have facilitated.

Guys like this should have been locked up for 40 years long ago. We have a convicted felon in the White House, setting precedent for lawlessness. We have to be tougher on both white collar and blue collar crime.

@TheHorse I didn't write the post. But consider this...the murder happened August 22nd. The link you posted was posted yesterday, 18 days later. Now, I have no idea what news media actually picked up the story and when, but I do know if this was a mass shooting, it wouldn't take 18 days to talk about it. Or a cop killing an unarmed black man. That wouldn't take 18 days either. I think his point stands that unless a story like this offers a narrative, the MSM will either not report it, or sit on it for a while because it doesn't advance a "cause," and perhaps in this case, makes Trump's point about crime more real. He's sending troops to crime ridden cities and MSM is trying to say, "Nothing to see here," and so... Is THAT why this wasn't a top national news story on August 23rd? Because maybe Trump might be right? You tell me.

When you don't police and hold people accountable, this is what you get. But you're right. Do half of these people watching these things unfold realize the role they play in all of this when they elect these people? There are core values I think we all should have regardless of our political leanings, and law and order should be one of them. It's like a conversation I had recently with someone about the wildfires in California where the person said, "I am more concerned with the needs of the victims of the fires than what the politicians are doing." Well, the flaw in that is that the fires are BECAUSE of what the politicians are doing, and those politicians were what CREATED those victims in the first place, and I'd be willing to bet that many of those victims VOTED IN those politicians which essentially means... They lit their own houses on fire.

"When you don't police and hold people accountable, this is what you get." _ Precisely!!! -This criminal had prior offenses for violent crime including robbery with a dangerous weapon. He has also been charged in the past with felony larceny, breaking and entering, and shoplifting, according to jail records cited by WBTV. -North Carolina Governor Cooper had signed a soft-on-crime executive order, and just three months later, the murderer Brown was released from prison. Coincidence, I don't think so. --This is a sad but true fact, race based criminal policies only embolden those who want to do harm to others. There is no fear of being severely punished for criminal actions. And yes, know who and what a candidate stands for. Otherwise, you're stuck with a Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker! Or a Socialist or probably a Communist in Zohran Mamdani.

I agree. Sadly, there are evil people in this world. This person was arrested many times for previous crimes. -It does no good to arrest violent felons if Democratic prosecutors and judges are simply going to turn them loose on their communities. Thanks for replying...
