Tom and I went on an adventure today. Went and paid rent, then drove up to SouthPort to Tractor Supply to get Bird Seed. Then went on up and checked out the new Big Mama's restaurant. It was packed so we didn't stop. We went down the road that goes to the Dam. WOW..we neither one had been down that road in years. So many new homes. But they were so close to each other you could shake hands through the windows. Couldn't get a riding mower in between the houses. Anyway..we went up 231 to Coram's. but the sign said open 6-10, so only open for breakfast. Went down Star Ave to Callaway, and went to the WinnDixie. They have food there. Tom got some fillettes of Catfish and I got some fried chicken. They had my Sparkling Ice on sale, so I got 10 for $10. Put $15 in the lotto machine..got 3 scratch offs and won $25. Then we went home and ate our lunches. Tom mowed the yard, and tonight I am making sort of a Hamburger Surprise. We had burgers last night, and I took the rest of the hamburger and cooked it, then saved it for tonight. I have a Kraft Mac n Cheese box that says White Cheddar Cheese with Garlic and Herbs. Have never had it before, but sounds really good. Thinking it will be real good with sauteed onions and hamburger in it. Will let you know. Tom and I used to go for rides like we did today a lot. It was fun to see places we haven't seen in a long while.
